This probably made the piqued grooming guru to shoot back the most relevant question by asking the media person if he has ever steered a boat with a jammed rudder that failed to respond to the ‘wheel’s’ movements. “The consequences could be fatal” warned Warren. “Seaweeds sticking to the rudder and left unattended turns the boat into an unsafe vessel and should, therefore, be cleaned regularly for safety reasons”, he added thoughtfully.

However, the media chap proved to be a tricky customer as he demanded more detail, a request that was promptly accepted by the peachy owner of Shyn4u who proceeded to elaborate his stand, issue by issue.

Take the case of your car, a contemporary SUV that must have cost anything between $25,000 and $30,000 and so should be treated as an asset. An asset, as we all know, needs care and attention as otherwise it will lose its intrinsic value in no time at all.

Car Care

The care in case of a car primarily involves washing the vehicle with water having some detergent in it. However, we always wash cars by using a dose of Autoshine Car Wash 107B, an ideal cleaning concentrate that cleans the car wonderfully well without damaging the protective layer that guards the expensive paintwork. The washing process also includes the car’s alloy wheels for which we use Autoshine Allkleen Mag Wheel Cleaner 114B, a powerful acid concentrate that does a thorough job so far as cleaning of car wheels is concerned. Regular washing also protects the car, a pricey asset from acid rain, road salt, acidic bird droppings and harmful UV rays – all hurtful foes bent upon turning the valuable asset into a limitless liability.

Washing over, we polish the car to a mirror finish by using Autoshine Deox Blue Magic Polish HTD5, which is a polymer based Polish with traces of mild abrasive that eliminates minor levels of oxidation that often appears on the paint surface, leaving a swirl free radiant finish.

Bike Care

Contemporary motorbikes, according to Warren, are examples that carry highest standard of specialization and so require special treatment. These include Audio and Electronics; Bags, Luggage and racks; Custom accessories & Trim; Electrical & Batteries; Exhaust; Foot Controls; Handlebar & Fingertip Controls; Instruments and Gauges; Lightings; Mirrors; Paint and Bodywork; Seats & Backrests; Security and Storage, Tyres & Wheels and the Windshield.

Since water can not be used to clean these items, we use Autoshine Final Inspection 129A Spray Polish to clean and polish most of these components. However, for bikes that have not been cleaned for lengthy periods of time, we use Autoshine Preperation Solvent 113C to remove dry wax and other residue from the paintwork. The same is also used to remove stains arising out of muck and grease left unattended for long.

Care for Recreational Boat

Recreational boats are indeed pretty pricey assets (Prices ranging from $35,000 and above) and so need additional care and attention.

However, we use the same Autoshine Car Wash 107B for washing the boat that renders a sparkling effect to the boat without harming the paint or the protective layer that saves the paint from coming into contact with the water. This product is also considered as a form of mild oxidation remover and is safer to use, as compared to common household cleaners.

We also give the boat a thorough rinse job, starting from the top and working the way to the bottom, collecting all the dust particles from the canvas, Plexiglas, plastic, etc from the deck areas. This way we avoid creating scratch marks as we will only be damping the dust particles while removing them.

However, the most significant part of Shyn4u restorative care for recreational boats involves cleaning and removal of seaweed and algae from the hull and the rudder of the boat. This is achieved by us through using Autoshine Preparation Solvent 113C that takes care of these offensive substances that often impede the functional aspect of the boat.
